Doctoral Research Clinics

MethodsNW is running a series of six doctoral research clinics for PhD students on various aspects of doing a PhD. These clinics are available to all PhD students registered at Lancaster, Liverpool or Manchester Universities.

Thirty places are available at each clinic and each will have a panel of up to five academics with expertise in the topic of the clinic. The clinics will involve a mixture of activities, including group work on particular problems facilitated by the academic panel. The clinics are arranged over three days (one at each of the three universities).

You may register for as many or as few of the clinics as you wish. Please note that you must book for each session separately, using the links below. Lunch will be available between the morning and afternoon events. For the Lancaster clinic, local transport will be available from the train station. For Liverpool and Manchester events the venues are a brief walk/bus ride from the station.
