MethodsX

The MethodsX programme is part of the specialist training made available to PhD students at the Universities of Liverpool, Lancaster, Manchester and Keele. It enables students to become involved in a growing community of practice, to network with other researchers to broaden their methodological toolkit and to hone their specialist methodology.

Students are asked to participate in the activities of one of five broad themes:  ‘Quantitative Methods’, ‘Interview-based Qualitative Research’, ‘Ethnography’, ‘New Forms of Data/Digital Methods’ and ‘Archives, Collections and Documents of Life’.
