Welcome to Methods North West

Methods NW is supported by the ESRC’s North West Social Science DTP. We are the regional hub for research methods innovation, celebrating the collective strength, depth and breadth of methodological expertise across the participating Universities of Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster, Lancashire and Keele.

We bring together researchers at all levels to provide a network for collaborations between staff and postgraduate researchers across the five institutions,

Opportunities for PGRs

Our partner institutions provide high quality training to PGR students. MethodsNW is committed to:

• Creating opportunities for PGRs to access the research methods expertise of world-leading researchers across partner institutions.
• Enabling access to advanced and specialist training not otherwise available in any one institution
• Developing a programme of events throughout the year.
